Log-off leeching

Players shouldn't get EXPERIENCE from a battle if they log off in battle and never return or just sit around in a fight. How does one get EXPERIENCE from not participating?!

I just recently started a alt after reaching 150 on my sadida. first time in a long time starting a alt and i cant believe how rampant it is, people just logging into a fight and just leave.

I'm on solar so i dont know if its just this server but 6 and out the 10 hunts i had was just people logging off and if i cant solo the horde my pet loses life. I know now i have to take certain precautions and expand this enemy list but hell anyone else frustrated?
